Osteopathy
Whole-body osteopathic care including visceral mobilization, structural and functional techniques.
Our approach.
Osteopathy at DISC takes a whole-body view — addressing not just spine and joints but also the soft tissues, fascia and visceral system that often underlie persistent or recurrent pain. Our practitioners are specifically trained in visceral mobilization, a gentle hands-on technique to release restrictions in the abdominal organs and surrounding fascia, often relevant for digestive issues, post-surgical adhesions and chronic low back or pelvic pain.

Osteopathy, answered.
What is visceral mobilization?
A gentle hands-on technique that addresses restrictions in the abdominal organs and their surrounding fascia. Useful for digestive complaints, post-surgical adhesions, and chronic low back or pelvic pain that has not responded to standard MSK treatment. Our team includes practitioners specifically trained in this technique.
How is osteopathy different from chiropractic?
Both use hands-on techniques, but osteopathy takes a more whole-body approach — including soft tissues, fascia and the visceral system — and tends to use gentler mobilisation. Many patients benefit from both, depending on their presentation.
Is osteopathy safe during pregnancy?
Yes. Pre and postnatal care is one of our specialisations, with techniques adapted to each trimester.
