Gait Analysis
Objective running and walking biomechanics — turning movement into measurable data.
Our approach.
Gait analysis at DISC turns movement into measurable data — video, force, and pressure — so plans target what is actually happening, not what it looks like. Ideal for runners, recurrent lower-limb injury, or anyone who feels something is off. We perform our gait assessments using the Dynexus system — an innovative, fully-integrated motion-capture, force and pressure platform that delivers objective biomechanical data in a single session, far beyond what a treadmill camera can show.

Gait Analysis, answered.
What is the Dynexus system?
Dynexus is the innovative motion-capture and force/pressure analysis platform we use to perform gait assessments. It combines high-speed video, force plates and pressure sensors in a single integrated system, giving us objective biomechanical data far more detailed than a standard treadmill or camera assessment.
Do I need orthotics after a gait analysis?
Often not. If biomechanics correct with technique or strength work, orthotics are unnecessary. If they are indicated, we refer you to our dedicated Insoles & Orthotics service.
How long does the session take?
Plan for 90 minutes including walking/running capture, analysis review and a written plan.
